“Is there any repentance for me?”
The question people carry for years, and no one to ask.

A vision for Muslim knowledge

“Is there any repentance for me?”
The question people carry for years, and no one to ask.
Religious guidance was once carefully handed down through trusted sources. Today, digital platforms accelerate the spread of information, prioritizing speed over depth. Fatwa sites answer from one school. AI invents citations. This shift makes it harder to verify sources and recognize the diversity of scholarly opinion.
Fourteen centuries of scholarship sit in Arabic, in books most of us cannot read. Sometimes the distance is the language itself; sometimes it is geography, cost, or simply embarrassment.
03 / 12 · THE THESIS
For the seeker, five things you can do now
Learn here. Verify at the source. Take personal rulings to a living scholar.
For the scholar, a research tool, never an authority
AI: the next vessel for wisdom. The charge to honor and protect knowledge remains unchanged. The scholar remains the final authority.

One question. Every position cited.
Same engine, pointed at social media.
05 / 12 · Why now
If we do not share the truth about Islam boldly, accurately, and with compassion, others will define it for us. It is our responsibility to protect our legacy, honor our martyrs, and ensure our children inherit the truth.
Our faith is misrepresented in the press, exploited in politics, and twisted by those who would do us harm. As Muslims are targeted and our communities are victimized, the world is largely blind to the actual truth of Islam. Ask610 is open to all, Muslim and non-Muslim, and is committed to giving our tradition a voice straight from the source, unfiltered and unaltered.
Young people are growing up in a world of endless scrolling rather than deep reading. If we don't speak to them where they learn (with answers, stories, daily lessons, videos), they'll get fragments of information, or worse, they'll believe the myths and falsehoods out there.
General AI can sound confident, but it is not always right. It can mix in false information while the real scholarship stays out of reach. Today, we have the tools to share it with everyone.
Every language and every way of learning matters, whether it is reading, listening, asking questions, or exploring. We present differing views with respect and without bias. We must give everyone, young and old, the chance to understand their faith in their own way, with dignity, clarity, and pride.

Scholars
Ask610 is built to be led by scholars, not just its creators. We are putting together a panel of scholars to review answers, set standards, and help decide what the system should say.
Ask for scholar access via [email protected], and we'll give you access to the review panel. You can go through the existing answers and let us know how they could be improved. Every correction you make helps to improve things for everyone else.
Partners
If you have lectures, writings, or a library of work, we would be glad if you shared them with us. We will include, cite, and credit your contributions.
If you represent an institute, seminary, or Islamic platform, let’s discuss how you can add Ask610’s cited answers to your app or website as an extra resource for your users.
Supporters
We are seeking support to build Ask610, whether through donations or investment.
Please share this with others. If you know a scholar, a potential partner, or anyone who might be interested, connect us. In this tradition, knowledge has always been passed from person to person.
Planting a tree means hoping someone else will enjoy its shade, even if you never see it. Our hope is that others will benefit from what we build together.
Support on LaunchGood ↗07 / 12 · Today
Live since March 2026 at ai.ask610.com. Built by one founder who needed it, then rebuilt with an engineering team.
The answers are drawn from 8,425 classical books and the contemporary corpus Prophetic Guidance, with every source cited so you can check it for yourself.
Shared with a scholar in Makkah and Madinah and then tested by scholars in Canada and London. We've rebuilt it on the basis of their feedback.
We assess ourselves honestly. Muslim researchers are developing tests for AI: what it knows, how it reasons, and whether its advice truly helps the person asking.
Shown at the Habibi Tech Summit in New York in September 2026.
We tested Ask610 against JaleesBench in October 2026. We came in #2 of 13. See the next slide.
On X, tag @ask610 with any question, and it will reply with the source attached.
We're aiming for a public launch in January 2027 (free through Ramadan). Your support will go a long way towards helping us get there.
08 / 12 · JaleesBench
Muslim researchers are building tests for AI that go beyond whether it knows facts to whether it holds firm when someone pushes back. One of those tests is called JaleesBench. We ran it on Ask610 in October 2026.
The result
#2 of 13 AI systems tested
13 AI systems were tested on questions about Islamic practice. Ask610 scored second overall, behind only Ansari and ahead of GPT-5.5, Claude Sonnet 5, and every other major AI system.
Ask610 held firm when pushed back on.
The test works like this: it asks a question, records the answer, then argues with the system. Most AI systems backed down or changed their answers. Ask610 was the only one whose answers actually got stronger under pressure.
This is what a tool built for this ummah should do.

One reliable source. Many doors. Today, most Muslims ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Ask610 is loyal to no single model and shares the community's hope for models of its own.

We test every change against a set of questions with known answers before it reaches you. What fails gets fixed first.
Building for generations: a lasting home for vetted Muslim knowledge
10 / 12 · WHY i BUILT THIS
In 2016, in Makkah, I carried a question I could not voice, even to the scholars beside me. Years later, after reaching the peak of my corporate career in New York and then in Silicon Valley, cancer brought my world to a standstill. In that silence, I had to face what remains when everything else is taken away. Faith no longer remained a ritual; it became a place of safety. Knowledge, no longer a luxury, became a necessity. The answers were still very far away, obscured by embarrassment and silence.
I'm not a scholar by any means, but I know what it's like to go looking for an answer and come up empty. I've spent over 20 years running hospitality operations for a range of clients (Google, Palantir, Atlassian, Duolingo, to name a few), where service and efficiency go hand in hand with a bit of ingenuity. When new technology came along, I was always the first to pilot it, shape it, and train our teams to use it. Curiosity, tenacity, and a real desire to build were the things that got me through. When AI started to fundamentally change the world, I built Ask610 myself, using AI as my tool. I broke it, I rebuilt it, I cried many tears, I went to the scholars for advice, and rebuilt it again to meet their standards. When it got beyond my capacity, I brought in an engineering team.
Ask610 is the culmination of my journey. My vision is a sanctuary for the seeker: a private, safe space where questions are met with respect, knowledge is carefully selected and presented, and no one is left to search in isolation. Ask610 is not a chatbot. It's about putting knowledge back where it belongs: accessible, genuine, and life-changing.
That's what I'm building. That's what I needed most.
